What people are saying

  • “Classes at The Space to Breathe are the highlight of my week. As a student, life can be very full on, and The Space to Breathe gives me a chance to unwind and recharge. Other yoga classes I have been to have often felt like there was an expectation of natural ability. Here I feel comfortable to move at my own pace entirely free of judgement. The feeling of community and friendliness really makes the experience so special.” — Emily Faulkner

  • “So pleased I got to finally visit after doing on line classes for nearly 2 years! The studio is lovely and peaceful and everyone is very welcoming. It is a very inclusive space. I did a Kundalini class followed by Yin Yoga. I enjoyed them and felt an increased energy and more positive mood afterwards. I would highly recommend giving it a try.” — Ruth Dunne

  • “Great yoga centre for all people and all abilities. Lots of different classes and types of yoga so can choose classes depending on how you're feeling. Nice big airy studio, well stocked with plenty of mats/bolsters and blocks. Really good vibe, teachers really knowledgeable and everyone in the class in friendly. Enjoying my time here.” — Nazim Bolia

  • “At The Space to Breath Collective, I have found just that. Space to Breath. They have a great selection of classes and times are available to suit all. Although I am a beginner (at nearly 50) I have never felt any pressure to try and be something that I am not. They offer great support and a community has developed that is warm, friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended” — Clare Henderson

  • “From that moment I stepped foot into the studio, I cannot explain how I felt, the energy, the togetherness, the calmness, the humbleness. It has had such a positive impact on my physical and mental well being. The yoga teachers are fabulous, so calm, so knowledgeable, so engaging, there is never a feeling of being rushed, I have learnt so much and I am so excited about learning more.” — Daljit Kaur

  • “This is simply an amazing space to practice yoga within a beautiful part of the city centre. There is a wide range of different classes to suit everyone. It’s such a welcoming and warm studio and the teachers are wonderful and professional. And it’s great that you can pay per class but the membership is a really good deal with unlimited yoga for only £50 a month. There is a real sense of community spirit here wish I absolutely love. I’d recommend this studio to all.”— Melanie Harper

  • “After a hiatus of a couple of years, I was looking to find a yoga studio; somewhere I could ground my practice and perhaps be part of a community. The available studios I found were very much commercial ventures and somehow didn't resonate for me. And then I found 'The Space to Breathe': a yoga cooperative. I've been going for about a month now and feel like I've found the 'home' for my yoga that I have been craving.”— Gerard Swan

  • “I am a complete beginner to Yoga, and was quite nervous about attending a class. Thankfully I stumbled across 'The Space To Breath Collective' and have never looked back. I was made to feel super welcome at their beautiful studio space. Not just by the Yoga teachers, but also the lovely people that attend. It has a very much community feel to it, a lovely place to talk about yoga or just anything else going on in your life.”— Chase Gough

  • “Space to Breathe is much more than a yoga studio. its a community. there is village elders (aka the founders) and then there is countless inhibitors of the Village, which is the studio. Some pass through, some are permanent residents, but all of them share a passion, for not just yoga, but life, wellness and, quite frankly happiness.” — Marieke Das
